1. To begin the "New Connection
Wizard" go to - Start/Accessories/Communications/New
Connection Wizard

2. This is the Windows XP New Connection
wizard. Proceed by clicking "Next".

3. Select the first option "Connect
to the Internet" and click "Next to continue...

4. Select "Set up my connection Manually" and
click "next" to proceed.

5. Select "Connect using a dial-up
modem" and click "Next" to continue...

6. Now name your connection "HotNet" in
the ISP Name field and then click "Next" to proceed.

7. Enter HotNet's dial-in number 0198331246 and
click "Next" to continue...

8. Enter your HotNet Email address (in
the format of yourusername@hot.net.au eg - johndoe@hot.net.au)
as your Username and the password you requested with your
account into the Password field. Re-enter your password
into the "Confirm password" field. Tick or Un-tick
the 3 options at your discretion. Click "Next" to
continue...

9. Select "Add a shortcut to this
connection to my desktop" and click the "Finish" button
to complete the wizard!

10. Check your settings and then click "Dial" to
connect to the internet.
You have completed the Dialup Installation for HotNet!

Changing your Windows XP Dialup
Settings

1. Begin by going to Start/Control
Panel and click the icon...

2. Find the "Network Connections" icon
and double click it...

3. Select the "Hot Net" Dialup
icon then Right Click and select "Properties" from
the menu...
4. Enter the new HotNet Dial-in number 0198331246 and
make sure "Use Dialing Rules" is Un-Ticked. Click "OK" to
close and accept the changes.

This completes modifying your HotNet Dial-in number.
